horsegiirL - Hayfever Posters

I designed the 3D elements of these posters for horsegiirL’s Hayfever world tour. There were a few different types, Sydney and New York were lucky enough to get their own unique outfits. The little character is called Stella and she’s actually wearing a small version of a real T-Shirt that is available in horsegiirL’s merch shop

Sometimes things start off looking a bit different! In the beginning we tried a couple of ideas based around both Animal crossing, and also this great drawing of horsegiirL. We ended up going in a direction that mixed the

Originally we went in a more detailed direction like this great caricature drawing. I based the original head exactly on this artwork.

Then little by little we moved to a more ‘Animal Crossing’ look, through to the final which was a mix of a Kewpie doll and these very cute horse figurines
